Dr. Eric Jason Amante earned his medical degree from the University of the Philippines College of Medicine (INTARMED) batch 1996. He completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at the University of Connecticut Health Center last 2000 and had his clinical fellowship in Rheumatology at the Massachusetts General Hospital-Harvard Medical School Training Hospital-with rotation at Bringham and Women’s Hospital and Beth- Israel Deaconess Hospital. He is a Diplomate of the Philippine College of Physician, Fellow of the Philippine College of Physician, Fellow of the Philippine Rheumatology Association and Board certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology of the American Board of Internal Medicine

Currently, Dr. Eric Jason Amante is the president of the Philippine Rheumatology Association. He is also the section head of Rheumatology at the Asian Hospital and Medical Center and Manila Doctors Hospital, clinical associate professor and research head of the section of Rheumatology, University of the Philippines-Philippine General Hospital.

 

Regina P. Berba, MD, MSc

Regina P. Berba, MD, MSc

Dr. Regina Berba is an Infectious Disease specialist, infection control and preventionist, and a clinical epidemiologist. She completed her medical education at the University of the Philippines- College of Medicine. She is currently the Chair of the UP- PGH Infection Control Unit, and the Head of the Section of Infectious Diseases at The Medical City. She has published papers on both local and international journals, concentrating on infection control, TB and dengue; and currently heads the Department of Health’s National Policy on Infection Control.

 

 

Belen L. Dofitas, MD, MSc

Belen L. Dofitas, MD, MSc

Dr. Belen Dofitas specializes in the field of Dermatology. She finished her medical education and master’s degree in Clinical Epidemiology at the University of the Philippines- College of Medicine, and dermatology training at the Philippine General Hospital. She is currently the President of the Board of Trustees of the Philippine Leprosy Mission, and the Residency Training Officer of the Department of Dermatology of St. Luke’s Medical Center.

 

 

Evelyn O. Salido, MD, FPCP, FPRA

Evelyn O. Salido, MD, FPCP, FPRA

Dr Evelyn Salido is a BS Biology graduate of theUniversity of the Philippines Los Banos. She earned her medical degree from the University of the Philippines, Manila. She had her internship and completed her residency training as chief resident in internal medicine at the Philippine General Hospital. She took her fellowship training and became the Chief Fellow in Rheumatology at the same institution. She also earned a master’s degree in Clinical Epidemiology at the UP, Manila.

Currently, Dr. Evelyn Salido is the head of the Section of Rheumatology of De La Salle University Medical Center. She is also the training officer of the Section of Rheumatology, Department of Medicine of the Philippine General Hospital, Associate Professor of the College of Medicine at the University of the Philippines, Manila, and is a consultant at the Philippine General Hospital, Asian Hospital and Medical Center, Perpetual Help Medical Center, and De La Salle University Medical Center.
