The COVID-19 pandemic has affected many of our patients that we see in the OPD for their medical consultations. To address the concerns of continuity of care for our non-COVID 19 affected patients, we will offer telephone consultations for our old OPD patients. This will be in service until such time the UP-PGH OPD resumes regular operations.
Bone and Joint week 2019
We would like to thank everyone who attended and participated in the week-long celebration of the 2019 International Bone and Joint week held last October 14-20, 2019.
The opening ceremonies were headed by Dr. Evelyn O. Salido, Head, Division of Rheumatology, Department of Medicine, UP-PGH. In attendance were Dr. Gerardo Legaspi, Director of the Philippine General Hospital and representatives from the Division of Endocrinology, Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, Department of Orthopedic Surgery.
This was followed by formal launch of the book entitled “Ang OsteoArthritis: OA ba and rayuma ko?” by Dr. Ester G. Penserga. She later delivered a lay lecture on the topic of Osteoarthritis. Audience interaction was very fruitful as they personally asked their questions to the expert lecturer.
We would like to extend appreciation to our corporate partner, Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR), for including us as part of their social advocacy.
In connection with the 2019 Bone and Joint week celebration, we warmly invite everyone to a public health lecture by Dr. Ester Penserga.
